THE 2008 21 Species Fishing Festival was a huge success with a total of 207 boats and 717 anglers taking part.
The weather played its part with beautiful sunny skies.
On Saturday the sea was relatively choppy, but Sunday offered perfect fishing conditions.
Young and old, fishermen and spectators alike enjoyed the festival as well as all the other events staged by the Meerensee Boat Club.
