Weather Forecast Richards Bay to Cape Vidal

Great week for fishing until Thursday. Then Rainy days and very cold nights. Expect really cold evenings by Friday. Saturday en Sunday will clear and Sunday will be a lovely warm day but Saturday evening one should be wearing nice warm clothes because temperatures might drop into the single figures.  That alone is good news for next weeks fishing conditions and Shad will be around while these cold conditions prevail.

Richards Bay
Fishing along the Chanel to Green Africa will be good. Low tide expect Grunter hunting for white prawn in the shallows around the cement bridge and in front of Green Africa. Evenings on the West side of Pelican and the east side of Naval Island should be fished with life bait, pinkies or whole sardines.

St. Lucia Estuary to CapeVidal
St. Lucia evenings until 22h00 or from 03h00 till first light. Front of closed Estuary mouth or down towards river mouth. Early morning Ingwe or Jabulani beach for shad. Mid day up at towards First Rocks and the slides. Marker 4 should be clear and deep water.

Mission Rocks on low tide for small scratchings. Cape Vidal South towards light house will need medium to heavy tackle over high tide.

Over all
We should experience a wind change during Friday late afternoon or early evening. The wind still between change will be the sweet spot. All prophets predict Friday as a good fishing day, but we will miss it if the weather turns out as forecast ed ... unless we want to rough it.

Good luck and tight lines ...
