Fishing - Development Seminar

The Richards Bay Ski-Boat Club will be hosting a development seminar on 30th and 31st August 2008.

The topics under discussion will be.

- General game fishing
- Bottom fishing
- Sailfishing
- Marlin fishing
- Tuna fishing
- Fishing Ski’s
- Dropshot/Vertical Jigging
- Outboard Motors

The speakers are of the highest calibre and will be sharing their experience with all who are interested.

There will be a small entry fee which will include a comprehensive manual covering the above topics and a light lunch.

Everyone is welcome.

The Sardines are Coming!

Hi there,

Heard today that large shoals of Sardines are congregating down in the Transkie and could be on their way north at any time now, the water temp is down to 18.5 deg (we've definitely experienced a very cold snap over the last few days), the Whales and Dolphins are heading north so conditions are perfect for a good Sardine Season - last two years have been pretty poor so we are definitely due for a great one. If you want to check up on their whereabouts you can phone the East Coast Radio Sardine line

on 082 284 9495 for the daily updated report.

There is still place to launch from Shelly but don't forget we will have a tractor available at Ramsgate this year if you want to avoid the crowds at the base.
