Claude back in the SA side

THE Zululand senior A side recently returned from competing in the SA Nationals tournament in the Southern Cape.
Claude D’Offay, who finished in 4th place overall, was again selected for the Protea side for the second consecutive year.
Rudolph Scheepers also claimed fame, being the top angler overall in the tournament and also catching the biggest fish - a Raggie of 110kg. He furthermore bagged the most number of fish.
Zululand finished in 5th place in the team competition behind Southern Cape, Border, Boland and Eastern Povince.
Our neighbours Natal ended up in 7th position out of the 12 provinces that participated.
Next years Senior A SA Nationals tournament will be hosted by Zululand.
