St. Lucia Ski Boat Club

The banks of the Estuary was packed on Saturday afternoon. Many species of fish where caught, but nothing much in size. Since these anglers are all here for legal size fish they where quite dissapointed with the results.

What was very comforting is to see how much live is still in the system even with the mouth close for so many months. The scary thing is all the crocodile activities and anglers allowing their kids to feed the crocs...

On the way back I run into tourist feeding the monkeys. This does make for great photo's, but in both cases the animals loose their natural fear for human beings. This poses a problem in it self, for monkeys are known to become problem animals and have to be destroyed.

The Crocs is a different story and it is a very dangerous situation for humans to share space with these ancient predators with no fear for them. Please do not feed the animals?
