The Big Game and bottom fishing competition

As I sat at the briefing and listen to all the rules it dawned on me. People can care about the environment. No Bottom fish smaller that two killo, no Game Fish smaller than five killo and all Marlin to be photographed and released. Color cards and hands of the skipper must be in the photo. The control boats will call the color of the card to use in the picture.

The first rules that was mentioned was The National Sea fisheries act then the Marine Vessel Safety Act and then followed consideration to the fish species and sizes that are allowed to be caught. I must say this was very interesting to listen how fishing competition is becoming greener by the day.  I will be there early tomorrow and catch the boats launching and will try and be there for the first weighing in.

Richards Bay is clearly geared up as a Holiday destination. ...
