St Lucia SBC will be hosting its 3rd 12 x 12 Species
Tournament over period 15-16 October 2016.
Due to a limit of 35 boats on the beach, it is pertinent that you enter as soon as possible to avoid
disappointment. The first 35 paid up teams will qualify for entry.
We would really like to reach our target of 35 boats. Should you wish to invite your friends to join,
please feel free to do so, alternatively, please provide us with their contact details in order for us to
forward them this this Notice & Registration/Entry form.
Closing date for entries and full payment- 30 September 2016.
Registration- Friday, 14 th October 2016 at 18H00, at the St Lucia SBC Clubhouse.
Briefing & Social Function- Friday, 14 th October at 19H00, at the St Lucia SBC Clubhouse.
Prize Giving & Social Function- Sunday, 16 October at 16H00, at the St Lucia SBC Clubhouse.
Rules & Scoring System- SADSAA / IGFA rules not applicable – Scoring as per St Lucia SBC document,
pertaining to this Tournament.
Entry Fee- R700 per person on the boat (includes a shirt, goody bag, beverage on the beach & lunch at
clubhouse). Only persons whose names appear on the Registration/Entry Form, for which payment was
received, will be allowed on the boat and to fish in this challenge.
Accommodation- Please arrange your own accommodation prior to the challenge to avoid
disappointment.
Teams- Minimum of 2 anglers per boat.
Fishing-
Launch - from first light on 15 th & 16 th October
Weigh-in – closes strictly at 16H00 on Saturday 15 th October and at 15H00 on Sunday
16th October
Prizes-
Thanks to our sponsors, we have again secured amazing prizes . The main prizes will again be made up of
CASH. There will also be Junior, Ladies and Bested Dressed Team prizes as well as many more.
Boat Auction-
There will be a BOAT AUCTION held after the briefing on Friday night

Teams will also have the option to enter for the biggest catch, excluding Billfish, over period 6-8 th
November 2015. Entry fees per team/boat will be R500.00, which will be payable at registration on
05 th November 2015. Remember to bring these entry fees in cash to the
clubhouse.
Sponsors-
Each sponsor’s Name & Logo will be displayed on a big banner at the clubhouse;
Sponsors are welcome to bring extra banners that can be displayed at the designated launch
area, or at the clubhouse;
All sponsors are requested to forward their logos, via e mail, to our club’s Tournament Officers,
Brad Mc Laren, at tournaments@slsbc.co.za on or before 30 th September 2016. Please ensure
that the format of the logo will allow us to work on it;
We now already ask our anglers to please support our sponsors, since they are the ones that
make it worth our while to fish this tournament.
Beach Support-
There will at all times be tractor support on the beach, as well as beach control services.
