Staggering towards Mozambique .. this over indulged lady is going to fall face first over land already saturated with drink spilled.
To heavy laden to alter course.. to wide spread to pick up speed..
Effect on our beach.. a spring tide of less than 3.5m..
At 3.1m we will have an acceptable marine surge into St Lucia Estuary.. bringing much needed life back.. but will hardly be worth mentioning any impact on the sediment deposits that was cemented in because of The Global Environment Fund management plan.
Mechanical Intervention is unavoidable and GEF should voluntary pay to fix the damage they brought to our beloved system.
