Large Shad in Richards Bay

It is customary for large Shad to bite just after the season closes or
just before the season opens again. The weekend of the 27th November
2009 very large shad 2 - 3 kg where caught of the Short Pier of Richards
Bay. Since then the weather was not favorable but my guess is they are
gone and if we are lucky we will catch a few small ones before Christmas.

Even the nice Grunters is elusive in St. Lucia area and only a couple of
large King Fish and Garrick where caught over the season.
