Kayak Fishing at Cape Vidal

Many Kayak Fishermen have launched at Cape Vidal and headed out to sea for a days fishing. Such fishing trips normally various between 4 and 6 hours and with luck some good size Game Fish are more often than not landed. But what do you do if you are weary of the unknown and need some guidance on the tips and tricks to surf launching at Cape Vidal. At best it is hair raising and at worst it could be disastrous.

For Africa has done some research and has found some one that would aid fisherman with info on the do's and dont's of Kayak fishing from Cape Vidal controlled launching site. Be aware this is not a place to enter with your training wheels still attached to your kayak. You need to be rowing fit and be able to mount your ski often with out problems. With this said this entry is not about scaring the living daylights out of a would be Kayak fishermen, but merely to help with some pit falls.
