With water levels this low and the whole system being in equilibrium sugar cane farmers is in uproar over flooding occur on the flood plain farms.
This might invoke the need to breach the river into the ocean. This could further lead to the drainage of drinking water into the ocean.
Hope fully the system is restored to its former glory sooner than later.
